Ten questions, plainly answered.
Halal certification, formulation, and the questions men ask before they reserve.
About the products
Every product is halal certified — covering ingredients, manufacturing, and packaging. The certification is held with ESMA (Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology) in the UAE and HFCAE (Halal Food Centre of America Europe) in KSA. The halal mark sits in the corner of every box. Quietly. It's the floor of what we make, not the headline.
Every Soln. formula is stability-tested at 45°C peak GCC summer. Most Western skincare is tested at 20–25°C — above 35°C, vitamin C oxidizes, retinol degrades, SPF actives lose efficacy. A bottle that sits in your bathroom from June to September experiences temperatures that would void those certificates. We tested in the climate the products will live in. That's the claim.
Four to twelve weeks of consistent use, depending on the product. Acne calms overnight. Razor bumps settle in two or three shaves. Dark Circles soften over about four weeks. Hair Fall and Dark Spots take longer — eight to twelve weeks, used nightly. Soln. is not a miracle category. Honest results take time.
Every product is fragrance-free and alcohol-free. The actives are dosed for tolerance, not intensity. If you have a known reaction to a specific ingredient, the full ingredient list is on every product page. When in doubt, patch-test behind the ear for two days before applying to the area you want to treat.
Soln. formulates and bottles in the GCC. The blending lab is in the UAE; the glass bottles are sourced from a European specialist glassmaker who does the same for several premium fragrance brands. The full manufacturing chain is halal-certified. We don't lead with "made in the UAE" as a marketing message — the question matters because of where the formulas were tested, not as flag-waving.
The products will work — the formulations don't depend on chromosomes. The brand is built for men and the marketing speaks to a man's life, but a woman who happens to like the products is welcome to them. We don't make a women's range. We make nine products. They work on the surface they're applied to.
About the brand
Solution — abbreviated. The period stays. The brand is the answer to a problem, not the celebration of one. Naming it after the thing it does seemed right. The honey-amber period is the brand mark. There's no separate logo. That's deliberate — see the About page.
No. Soln. is an independent brand, based in the GCC, building from nine products at a small batch size. There's no parent group, no fast-fashion conglomerate behind it. If that ever changes, we'll say so on this page.
The certification is held with ESMA (UAE) and HFCAE (KSA). The certificate IDs are listed on every product page in the credentials section. ESMA covers the UAE market and is recognized across the GCC; HFCAE covers KSA-specific halal compliance. If you want to verify a specific certificate ID, you can check directly with ESMA at esma.gov.ae or HFCAE at hfcae.org. We don't mind the verification — we'd rather you trust it because you checked.
The price is the price. Running a sale would mean either (a) we overcharged the original buyer, or (b) we're devaluing the next buyer's purchase. Neither is acceptable. The only price discount we offer is on the bundles — buying three or four products together at a lower per-unit price than buying them separately. That's a volume discount, not a sale. There won't be a Black Friday discount. There won't be a flash sale. The bundle saving is the saving.
